Do I Have To Believe I Can Have It To Manifest It?

  • I got asked a question that I’d like to answer here
  • Here’s the message/question:

Hi Scott,

I have been learning as much as I can about the law of attraction and I came across your podcast recently and I’m really enjoying it!

I’m hoping you can help me understand something that I consider important.

I’ve heard you say that to manifest something you must have a desire and also believe that you can have it. I heard someone else say that you don’t have to believe if your desire is strong. Which is true?

  • Thanks for the question
  • Not everything on the Internet is real…
  • However, there is truth to this
  • I’ll first clarify what I usually tell you guys so you can understand it and learn to manifest easier
  • If you don’t believe you can have something you want, it will reflect in your vibration and you will be resisting your desire instead of attracting it – You will attracts it’s opposite
  • Belief is very important
  • Although it’s not the only way, it is the only practical way
  • Because belief puts you into the vibrational space that you need to be in to make it happen
  • I will explain
  • BUT, if you have a desire that is so damn strong, I mean SO DAMN STRONG, it could override the belief part of it
  • I don’t usually go there when teaching to manifest
  • Here’s why:
  • Because it is not practical for deliberate attraction
  • The reason I say that is because you have to have such a strong extenuating circumstance for your desire to be that strong, that just plan or just decide you want

Here’s an example

  • Did you ever hear the story about how a petite woman lifted a car to free her child that was trapped?
  • There are several similar stories out there – Google it!
  • This is definitely an extenuating circumstance!
  • So how does that work?
  • The super strong desire led to the manifestation by having the human body generate the chemicals necessary to lift the vehicle
  • Even the woman couldn’t understand how she was able to do – and she couldn’t do it again

What Does It Mean To Be In Balance?

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • I got asked this question – I don’t think this is going to be a long episode, but the question is so important that I decided it needs its own episode
  • The question is: What does it mean to be in balance?
  • The second part is: And do I need it?
  • Being in balance means you are connected with your inner being
  • It’s super important!
  • When you are connected, you are manifesting your desires
  • When you are not connected, you are resisting your desires, thereby manifesting its opposite
  • Balance is one of several words that people use to mean the same thing:
  • Balanced, aligned, centered, connected, calibrated… they all refer to connecting with your inner being
  • Your inner being is the non-physical you that guides you towards your desires
  • There are several words to describe your inner being as well:
  • Inner being, higher self, soul, source, guardian angel… they all refer to your non-physical self

Here’s how it works

  • Connecting to your inner being is important for guidance
  • When you have a desire, your inner being is immediately all over it and is in a state of love
  • When you think about your desire, the closer you feel to a state of love, the more in balance you are with your inner being
  • When you feel any positive emotion, you are at that moment attracting your desires (not just that desire, but all your desires)
  • When you want something, it feels good to launch that desire, and at that moment, you are aligned
  • If you begin to tell yourself why you can’t have it (money, time, whatever…), you will feel a negative emotion
  • That’s because your inner being is not thinking the same way about that desire
  • You believe you don’t have enough money to have it, or you’re not worthy, or whatever, and your inner being knows that you are worthy and money is just energy
  • Your inner being is loving the idea, and you are resisting it… that vibrational discrepancy is what is causing the negative emotion – you are not in balance, not in alignment with your inner being
  • That’s your cue to find a better feeling thought

What Is Synchronicity? (not a Google definition!)

    • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
    • Today we are going to talk about synchronicity and uncover what it is
    • According to Google, synchronicity refers to meaningful coincidences that appear to be connected but have no discernible causal relationship
    • What does that even mean? We’re going to dive in from a different angle and get right to it
    • Everything you desire is noted and virtually tended to by your inner being
    • You are always being guided to your desires – they are ready to manifest right now
    • But you have to get onto the same vibration
    • As mentioned, you are being guided, but we tend to resist and that’s why we don’t yet have what we want
    • So how does all that tie in to synchronicity? Synchronicity is timing. It’s a nudge.
    • Your inner being is showing you, reminding you, that you are being guided
    • Your inner being is guiding you through your ever-changing path to your desires
    • Your path is changing because of your beliefs, resistance, and not following your gut
    • Your gut is part of that nudge… and if you aren’t going with the flow, your inner being is trying something easier for you to believe
    • Synchronicity is merely your inner being saying “hey, look over here”
    • To speed up your manifestations, it’s important to recognize what’s going on and once you do, you’ll begin to see changes
    • Be aware that you are responding to your gut, to your guidance… that awareness feels good, and that will dove-tail to stronger attraction
    • You will begin to tune into your gut feelings and you will start believing in your role and you will find yourself doing it much more often
    • When you get good at following your guidance, you will notice that life is just going your way!
    • You will become a deliberate creator, instead of creating by default as you used to do
    • You used to put your attention on what’s going on around you, thereby attracting based on what you are observing (which often sucks)
    • Now you are putting your attention on your guidance and following it, thereby attracting based on your own desires!
    • What could be better than that?
    • We’ve all experienced it… you just haven’t put 2 and 2 together about what you were thinking and what you were feeling

  • Yes – The law of attraction is always working
  • The question is: Is it working in your favor?
  • Emotional manifestations are always immediate
  • Physical manifestations can have many moving parts
  • If you are in total control, it can be quick
  • If others are involved, as is often the case, it will need to unfold
  • But you can notice the unfolding and take delight in it
  • Your good feelings indicate its’ momentum
  • Being wishy-washy holds it in place (like a tug of war)
  • It’s important to (learn to) align yourself and practice awareness
  • Your momentum plays a bit part (resistance or allowance)

Accelerate Law Of Attraction Results

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • Today we are going to cover accelerating the results of our manifestations
  • Awareness is key here because your emotions are indicators of your point of attraction
  • Your emotions indicate whether you are attracting what you want, or if you are attracting that which you do not want
  • Your emotions also indicate the strength of that vibration (attraction)
  • So yes, you’ll need to know what your emotions are telling you
  • Once you understand what’s going on with your point of attraction, you’ll then be in a position to make a change when you find you are not attracting things you want
  • In this episode we cover expectation and what that means
  • We cover the importance of your thoughts
  • It’s not always easy to change your thoughts, especially when there is a strong, lingering issue that you wish to change
  • We cover what it takes to modify our point of attraction (and yes, we can do this with a bit of practice)
  • We cover tools that we often use, such as vision boards and affirmations… and why they don’t always yield the results we wish for (and what to do about it)
  • We learn how to be deliberate with our thoughts and our manifesting!
