How Do I Get Into Alignment?

  • I received a question from a listener, and I’m going to read it to you:

Hi, I want to know how exactly to get my vibration into alignment, I seem to like to keep others happy before myself and put their needs first. Rather than hurt others, I hurt inside myself. Help me.

  • She is asking one question: How do I get into alignment?
  • But she is also indirectly asking another: How to I stop hurting myself as I help others?
  • I will address both, let’s start with “how to get into alignment”

What Is Alignment?

  • Define alignment…
    • Getting into alignment is not some sort of arbitrary balance
    • It is specific and simple to do, once you understand who you are
    • You are eternal consciousness that can never cease to be
    • You exist in the non-physical right now… it’s the greater part of you
    • What you know as you is an extension of who you are
    • Your existence, your thinking, and your knowing is happening in the non-physical at the same time
    • Getting into alignment is thinking in your physical form along the same lines as you are thinking in your non-physical form
    • Getting into alignment means getting into alignment with yourself
  • So how do we do that?
    • It’s based on what you are thinking
    • Our emotions are our guidance
    • Feeling good = alignment
    • Feeling bad = out of alignment (resistance)
  • Be careful because every subject is really two subjects
    • Take notice whether you are thinking about your desire or the lack of your desire
    • For example, thinking “I want to be slim” vibrates very differently from “I don’t want to be fat”
    • There is no exclusion in our inclusion based universe, your attention to anything will bring the essence of it to you
    • Thinking “I want to be slim” will bring you a slim body… thinking “I don’t want to be fat” will keep you fat
    • How do you know if your thought is on your desire or the lack of your desire? You will feel it in the form of emotion.
  • Dominant thoughts win: What are you predominantly thinking about?
  • The law of attraction is simple
    • You get what you think about, whether you want it or not
    • Thoughts are vibrations
    • Like vibrations are attracted to one another
    • Events and circumstances begin to unfold to manifest the essence of your thoughts
    • You get what you think about, whether you want it or not
  • The law of attraction is a simple process, but learning to direct your thoughts takes practice like anything else
  • Belief is the secret sauce
  • If you don’t believe in what you want, you must find a way to focus your thoughts until you believe them
  • Once you believe, you will see manifestation begin

Here are Some Tips to Help You Align

  • You must figure out how to think about what you want, instead of what is
  • Be aware… are you thinking about your desire, or the lack of your desire?
  • Think about things you like and enjoy from your past, or how you would prefer it to be
  • Dream, dream, dream!
  • Be eager (like a kid)

The Second Question

  • I’m now going to address her second concern… let me reread that part:

I seem to like to keep others happy before myself and put their needs first. Rather than hurt others, I hurt inside myself. Help me.

  • She is asking how to stop hurting herself while attempting to help others
  • We are going to apply what we just talked about regarding alignment
  • When you are in alignment, you will attract others who are in alignment and influence those who are not
  • We have all experienced this… we are drawn to happy confident people (in alignment) and avoid those who are grumpy (out of alignment)
  • You have nothing to offer another human being if you are not in alignment… nobody is going to take advice from that grumpy guy, or even want to hang out with him
  • When you try to help another when you are not in alignment, you cannot help them, and because you are focusing on their needs instead of your own, you cannot help yourself either… that’s why you hurt inside when you put their needs first
  • It may seem selfish, but you can only help others when you are first in alignment
  • Tend to your own vibrational needs – get happy on the subject – then you can influence others through the example of your joy
  • Remember, like anything else, this will take practice
  • I promise you, it works… you are not going to become a proficient tennis player the first time you get out onto the court, and in like manner, you will need to practice your deliberate thoughts to get into alignment

  • I read many books on the subject strengthening my knowledge, understanding, and ultimately my results of the law of attraction

  • It’s called “Ask, And it is Given” by Jerry and Esther Hicks

  • We are aligned when the thoughts we are thinking about any given subject are the same as the thoughts of our non-physical inner being. At every moment, we are being guided by our inner being through our emotions.

The Most Important Thing Is That You Feel Good

Nothing is more important than feeling good. Do you know why? It’s because your feelings are indicators of your vibration. Specifically, your feelings represent the alignment of how your vibration compares with the vibration of your higher self, your inner being, your source.

You determine your desires here as you live your life on this planet. The moment you launch a desire, your higher self communicates with you on how to achieve that desire in manifested form. This communication is in the form of emotions. Your higher self is already vibrating with the frequency of your desire (this is for all subjects and desires). When you are also vibrating on the frequency of your desire, you feel good. That’s because you are in alignment with your higher self. When you are not vibrating on the frequency of your desire, you feel bad, meaning you are out of alignment with your inner being regarding that desire. The discord you feel represents the level of misalignment. The worse you feel, the farther out of alignment you are… the better you feel, the closer to alignment you are. When you feel love, bliss, and joy, you are in full alignment.

The reason this is important is because the law of attraction brings you thoughts, circumstances, events, and people that match the vibration you are emitting. Simply put, when you are in alignment, you are manifesting your desire, when you are out of alignment, you are resisting your desire, and it therefore cannot come to you.

Now you understand why the most important thing you can do is to feel good. If you don’t feel good, find a way to feel good. The law of attraction is simpler than you think once you understand who you really are. In this episode I explain the relationship between you and your inner being, and how to align with yourself for speedy manifestation!

How to Use The Law of Attraction

Vibrations attract

  • The law of attraction says that which is like itself is drawn to itself
  • What you think about is what you get, whether you want it or not
  • The trick is to thing about what you want
  • Become aware of your thoughts
  • Once you have a desire, the universe goes to work immediately to bring it to you
  • Your work is to allow it in, and you do that with your thoughts

The mechanics of who you really are

  • You are a non-physical being (spirit) right now, yet you are also physically present right now as an extension of your source for the purpose of expansion through this physical experience
  • There are two of you right now… the non-physical and physical you
  • Your non-physical, your soul, is communicating with the physical you at all times through your feelings
  • When the physical you is vibrating the same as the non-physical you, you are allowing your desire to come because you are in alignment on any subject
  • If you are experiencing a negative emotion, it is an indication that you are resisting the flow of source energy (your energy), and thereby you are preventing your desire from coming to you
  • The key is to be in alignment with the non-physical you
  • You have to be in alignment with you, and you know that by feeling good
  • You have heard me say it before, your homework is to feel good, and now you understand it on a deeper level
  • There is nothing more important than being in alignment with yourself
  • When a negative thought enters your mind, you must find a way to change your thought… therefore your vibration
  • Work your way to a better emotion until you are feeling good on the subject
  • Your inner self is always guiding you to your alignment through your feelings

What is the law of attraction?

  • It’s a universal law
  • Like attracts like
  • It’s the most powerful law in the universe
  • Everything in your life has been brought to you via the law of attraction
  • It’s important that you understand how this works so you can take control of your life
  • The law of attractions has been brought to the masses via the immensely popular movie “The Secret”

Famous people using the law of attraction (to name but a few)

  • Opera Winfrey
  • Jim Carrey
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger
  • Will Smith

What Makes It Work

  • Everything is a vibration
  • Like vibrations attract
  • Physical matter is mostly space when you break it down… it vibrates
  • Energy is also vibration
  • Our thoughts are also vibrations
  • Matter and energy are interchangeable, proven by Einstein:  e=mc2

Your point of attraction is now

  • Even when you think of the past or of the future, your are still thinking it now
  • Therefore that vibration, or thought, is your current, in the now, point of attraction

The law of attraction is 100% consistent, just like gravity

  • You get what you think about AND believe
  • If you don’t believe it, keep telling it to yourself and you will eventually believe it
  • Once you believe it, it will manifest in your life

Things we can do right now to make this work

  • Be keenly aware of your thoughts
  • You cannot change your thoughts until you are aware of what they are
  • Stop telling stories of what is, and replace those stories with what you truly want and desire
  • Stop trying to “be right”
    • You can be right or you can be rich
    • You can be right or you can be healthy
    • You can be right or you can be happy
    • You can be right or you can have a great relationship
    • You can be right or you can _________________

Dreaming

  • Daydreaming can be healthy for you
  • This may seem like a paradox
  • Dream of what you want… be in it… feel the emotion… feel your senses

In Summary

  • The law of attraction states that like things attract like things
  • Stop tell stories of what is
  • Stop trying to be right
  • Daydream out loud
  • Tell the story the way you want it to be
  • Think from your dream, not of it
