  • The answer is no, but they are related

  • Do you have goals?

  • You are always attracting
  • Using tools (affirmations, scripting, crystals, vision boards, meditations)

Law of Attraction – Things that apply (we’ve all heard these before)

  • The rich get richer, the poor get poorer
  • What goes around, comes around
  • You reap what you sow
  • Happiness lies within
  • Only the present moment matters
  • Everything he touches turns to gold
  • He was born with a golden spoon in his mouth
  • Everything he touches turns to dust (shit)
  • He has the Midas touch
  • Nothing ever goes right (for me)
  • Be careful what you wish for
  • Life is a journey, not a destination
  • Happiness is a choice
  • Stop and smell the roses
  • Follow your gut
  • Follow your instinct
  • Follow your intuition
  • People can only see what they are expect to see
  • The best things in life are free
  • Forgiveness heals
  • Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right
  • Start the day off on the right foot
  • Put your best foot forward
  • The better it gets, the better it gets… the worse it gets, the worse it gets
  • Never say “I can’t”
  • You need a strong reason why

Why Am I Having Trouble After I’ve Manifested So Much?

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • I received a question that I’d like to answer here
  • It’s from Victoria
  • Here’s what she wrote…

What if I’ve experienced quite a success in my life already – I like the place I’m in and I’m comfortable already so I can see I don’t have the same emotions and desire for my goals as I had in the beginning when I didn’t have money or possibilities and I wanted it so much more than now?

I find it hard to manifest (the) next goals cause I feel like I can’t really tap into those emotions

Let’s Get To It

  • Let’s begin with those strong emotions
  • When you learn, become, or do something for the first time, the experience I heightened
  • And that’s normal
  • For example, when you were a kid and went out to a fancy restaurant for the first time, your emotions were very strong
  • You could have felt a sense of superiority to be having the experience
  • Maybe you felt a sense of pride just because you’re there – an maybe you’re thinking your best friend hasn’t had this experience
  • And the delightful aroma and the impeccable service
  • You feel prosperous: And that’s a desire launched if you don’t get in your own way
  • Yeah, it’s amazing!
  • Do you feel those emotions now? Probably not.
  • Do you still go out to eat at nice places? Most likely
  • You’re still manifesting the new experiences
  • I just used dining as an example, but it applies to everything
  • The thing is, doing things for the first time tends to carry a stronger desire and therefore, emotion
  • That’s why things feel so good as you are growing up and into new experiences
  • How was your first kiss?
  • You get where I’m going with this
  • I realize not everyone listening has had these same experiences, yet this applies to you too for whatever experiences you have had
  • So Victoria, the answer to the first part is that your experiences of fading emotions are normal
  • I’d like to focus more on your fading desires
  • As consciousness in physical form, we never stop having desires
  • Some are strong, some are not – and there’s everything in between
  • Let’s take a look at what could be causing that
  • Are you too busy working? Do you feel you don’t have time?
  • Without a direct conversation, it’s hard to hone in – And so…
  • Take a good look at what you’ve got going on
  • When you join our community, we’ll be able to go deeper there
  • I’d like to make another point:
  • You mentioned that you are finding it hard to tap into those emotions
  • That’s because we can’t tap into emotions!
  • You can feel them
  • You can tap into thoughts that create those emotions
  • Your emotion is a manifestation (the first manifestation) based on what you have your attention on (ie: what you are thinking about)
  • Your work is to monitor what your attention is on
  • Pay attention and you will eventually learn to heighten your awareness
  • Being aware of what fees good, and what doesn’t allows you to make decisions on the fly
  • Also consider that your attempts to “tap in” are likely causing resistance, thereby causing you to feel like shit, thereby causing negative emotion when you think about your desire
  • In other words, you are beginning to believe that it’s becoming more difficult
  • What do you think the law of attraction is going to deliver to you?
  • You got it: More things and experience that feel more difficult!
  • The good news is that all this can be changed
  • I am hoping you are now feeling a sense of relief if my words are resonating with you
  • Just knowing that everything is as it should be, should help take the edge off and remove resistance
  • Think back on things you have been wanting
  • It doesn’t have to be a big deal: Maybe you want a new pair of earrings
  • I know you can afford it
  • This isn’t (right now) about manifesting money – It’s about manifesting your desire
  • If you feel that because you have the money, and therefore the earrings are not manifested – think again
  • Everything in your life’s experience is manifested
  • If you are feeling crappy when you purchase those earrings, you will not have a good experience
  • You won’t enjoy them, they may break, or you’ll lose them…
  • That’s just how the law of attraction works
  • So here’s a few things you can do
  • Take some time for yourself each morning
  • Place your attention on something that is neutral
  • For instance, breathe and put your attention on your breath
  • Or you can notice what it feels like to sit in that comfortable chair
  • You may choose to feel the air on your skin, or the blanket, or your clothing
  • There are many good feeling things that are neutral that you can put your attention on
  • When doing this, you cannot help but feel the emotion – and it’s going to feel good!
  • What you are doing is tuning your vibe in advance
  • You’re setting the tone for your day
  • You’ll find it harder to be knocked off balance
  • An old unfulfilled desire may pop into your head, and it will feel great
  • Try these things and see what happens
  • I’d like you to get back to me and let me know about your experiences

  • I got asked a question that I’d like to answer here
  • Here’s the message/question:

Hi Scott,

I have been learning as much as I can about the law of attraction and I came across your podcast recently and I’m really enjoying it!

I’m hoping you can help me understand something that I consider important.

I’ve heard you say that to manifest something you must have a desire and also believe that you can have it. I heard someone else say that you don’t have to believe if your desire is strong. Which is true?

  • Thanks for the question
  • Not everything on the Internet is real…
  • However, there is truth to this
  • I’ll first clarify what I usually tell you guys so you can understand it and learn to manifest easier
  • If you don’t believe you can have something you want, it will reflect in your vibration and you will be resisting your desire instead of attracting it – You will attracts it’s opposite
  • Belief is very important
  • Although it’s not the only way, it is the only practical way
  • Because belief puts you into the vibrational space that you need to be in to make it happen
  • I will explain
  • BUT, if you have a desire that is so damn strong, I mean SO DAMN STRONG, it could override the belief part of it
  • I don’t usually go there when teaching to manifest
  • Here’s why:
  • Because it is not practical for deliberate attraction
  • The reason I say that is because you have to have such a strong extenuating circumstance for your desire to be that strong, that just plan or just decide you want

Here’s an example

  • Did you ever hear the story about how a petite woman lifted a car to free her child that was trapped?
  • There are several similar stories out there – Google it!
  • This is definitely an extenuating circumstance!
  • So how does that work?
  • The super strong desire led to the manifestation by having the human body generate the chemicals necessary to lift the vehicle
  • Even the woman couldn’t understand how she was able to do – and she couldn’t do it again
