What Does It Mean To Be In Balance?

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • I got asked this question – I don’t think this is going to be a long episode, but the question is so important that I decided it needs its own episode
  • The question is: What does it mean to be in balance?
  • The second part is: And do I need it?
  • Being in balance means you are connected with your inner being
  • It’s super important!
  • When you are connected, you are manifesting your desires
  • When you are not connected, you are resisting your desires, thereby manifesting its opposite
  • Balance is one of several words that people use to mean the same thing:
  • Balanced, aligned, centered, connected, calibrated… they all refer to connecting with your inner being
  • Your inner being is the non-physical you that guides you towards your desires
  • There are several words to describe your inner being as well:
  • Inner being, higher self, soul, source, guardian angel… they all refer to your non-physical self

Here’s how it works

  • Connecting to your inner being is important for guidance
  • When you have a desire, your inner being is immediately all over it and is in a state of love
  • When you think about your desire, the closer you feel to a state of love, the more in balance you are with your inner being
  • When you feel any positive emotion, you are at that moment attracting your desires (not just that desire, but all your desires)
  • When you want something, it feels good to launch that desire, and at that moment, you are aligned
  • If you begin to tell yourself why you can’t have it (money, time, whatever…), you will feel a negative emotion
  • That’s because your inner being is not thinking the same way about that desire
  • You believe you don’t have enough money to have it, or you’re not worthy, or whatever, and your inner being knows that you are worthy and money is just energy
  • Your inner being is loving the idea, and you are resisting it… that vibrational discrepancy is what is causing the negative emotion – you are not in balance, not in alignment with your inner being
  • That’s your cue to find a better feeling thought

Where Do Our Thoughts Come From?

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • I received a question that really made me think…
  • Ironically, the question is: where do our thoughts come from?
  • Is this about manifesting and the law of attraction? Yep
  • I was going to do a social reel to answer this, but I think it’s too involved for a reel, so I decided to make it an episode for the podcast
  • It is a great question and it’s more profound than you might think
  • This question is at the intersection the law of attraction and manifestation, of why we are here, and of consciousness itself
  • Yet the answer is actually quite simple:
  • Your thoughts come from you in non-physical form, as well as others that are hanging out with you non-physically
  • When you raise your vibration, you are being guided – in other words, when you are feeling positive emotions
  • These thoughts are part of your guidance from infinite intelligence
  • There are also thoughts that come from other places
  • For instance, when you are feeling a particular emotion – good or bad, you attract other thoughts that are on the same frequency
  • That’s why I often tell you to pay attention to how you feel – because if it doesn’t feel good, you’re gonna attract other shit just like it
  • As an example of that, let’s say you opened your mail and got an unexpected and suddenly you not feeling very good
  • That feeling starts attracting other thoughts that match it which are now popping into your head
  • I can be something like: I can’t afford it, where am I gonna get the money
  • And now you’re on the subject of money in a negative way, and this can keep flowing
  • And the frequency of these thoughts are not high-vibing and other things that match it will start to come
  • You can go into all different subject on that same vibrational frequency, and now you’re going off on that tangent
  • Remember, you attract in the present moment, so…
  • Pay attention to how you’re feeling because the longer you stay, the more the resistance-momentum builds, and the stronger the attraction of what you do NOT want becomes
  • These thoughts are from sloppy thinking, as you allow your surroundings to affect where your thoughts go
  • Another version of thoughts that come from other places
  • Are thoughts that attract from an existing thought that are NOT bad thoughts
  • For instance, let’s say you’re at home and you made waffles and you’re putting syrup on them…
  • And suddenly a thought popped into your mind of the best maple syrup you had at this cozy little restaurant in Vermont years ago
  • This is the same process as the above negative thoughts, only these thoughts feels good
  • Whatever you are thinking, if you are aware of how it feels, you have the power to make it change and support you as much as possible, or at least as often as possible
  • Which brings me up to the next type of thought…
  • Then there are the thoughts that you actually look for by deliberately putting your attention on things that you know feel good for you
  • This is what I teach all the time
  • They might be things like the birth of your child, your wedding day, or anything from your childhood or current life that’s just a wonderful memory and feels so good when you put your attention on those memories
  • These are the kind of thoughts that we want to do as often as we can to get yourself out of situations and vibrational places that are not supporting you

Let’s Play With The Law Of Attraction!

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • This is going to be a fun episode.
  • That’s because we are going to play with the law of attraction.
  • That’s good because it will help you manifest your desires.
  • You guys are sending in a lot of questions around getting the law of attraction to work.
  • It’s not that it’s not working, it’s that you’re not fully understanding how it works and what to do about.
  • We’re going to dive into that.
  • Let me give you some context using a very relevant analogy with another universal law.
  • We don’t actually play with the law of attraction, we play with being aware and we play with learning to change our thoughts and how we feel.
  • It’s kind of the same as the law of gravity. If we were building a bridge, we don’t play with the law of gravity, we play with structural design and where to put supports.
  • Understanding the law of gravity allows us to build strong bridges that span great distances. If the bridge collapses, it’s not because the law of gravity did not work for you, it’s because the bridge was not supported properly.
  • The law of gravity just does what it does, and it works the same for everyone. Like the law of gravity, the law of attraction works the same way.
  • If you are not getting what you want ,it’s not because the law of attraction did not work for you, it’s because your thoughts are not accompanied by good feeling emotions. Playing with the law of attraction is really playing with your thoughts, noticing the feeling that comes with that thought, and making changes accordingly so that you are feeling good when thinking those thoughts.

  • Yes – The law of attraction is always working
  • The question is: Is it working in your favor?
  • Emotional manifestations are always immediate
  • Physical manifestations can have many moving parts
  • If you are in total control, it can be quick
  • If others are involved, as is often the case, it will need to unfold
  • But you can notice the unfolding and take delight in it
  • Your good feelings indicate its’ momentum
  • Being wishy-washy holds it in place (like a tug of war)
  • It’s important to (learn to) align yourself and practice awareness
  • Your momentum plays a bit part (resistance or allowance)

The Easiest Way To Know What You Are Attracting

  • Welcome to the Think Blissful blog and podcast, where we simplify the law of attraction!
  • Today we are going to cover how you know what you are attracting
  • There are two ways to tell what you are attracting. Pre-manifestation, post-manifestation
  • It would be ideal to understand what’s going on with our point of attraction before we manifest, but know that it’s also important if we found out after we manifested it. There is an understanding that can help you hone in easier to pre-manifestation.
  • The Easiest Way To Know What You Are Attracting is to pay attention to how you feel
  • While you are thinking the thought
  • Two sides of the subject… and we often teeter-toter back and forth watering down our manifesting power
  • It’s about how you feel, not what you say
  • When I say it’s about how you feel, I am referring to your emotions, not your physical feeling
  • It’s not always easy to change your thoughts, especially when there’s momentum built up
  • How you feel is what you get
  • The law of attraction is responding, not to how you feel, but to your vibration
  • And how you feel is an expression of that vibration
  • People often ask me: How do I use the law of attraction? You don’t use the law of attraction, the law of attraction uses you – more specifically your vibration – your vibrational output
  • Here’s the simplest way to understand what you are attracting: How do you feel right now?
  • If you feel good, you’re attracting what you want.
  • If you feel bad, you’re attracting what you don’t want.
