How Do I Get Into Alignment?

  • I received a question from a listener, and I’m going to read it to you:

Hi, I want to know how exactly to get my vibration into alignment, I seem to like to keep others happy before myself and put their needs first. Rather than hurt others, I hurt inside myself. Help me.

  • She is asking one question: How do I get into alignment?
  • But she is also indirectly asking another: How to I stop hurting myself as I help others?
  • I will address both, let’s start with “how to get into alignment”

What Is Alignment?

  • Define alignment…
    • Getting into alignment is not some sort of arbitrary balance
    • It is specific and simple to do, once you understand who you are
    • You are eternal consciousness that can never cease to be
    • You exist in the non-physical right now… it’s the greater part of you
    • What you know as you is an extension of who you are
    • Your existence, your thinking, and your knowing is happening in the non-physical at the same time
    • Getting into alignment is thinking in your physical form along the same lines as you are thinking in your non-physical form
    • Getting into alignment means getting into alignment with yourself
  • So how do we do that?
    • It’s based on what you are thinking
    • Our emotions are our guidance
    • Feeling good = alignment
    • Feeling bad = out of alignment (resistance)
  • Be careful because every subject is really two subjects
    • Take notice whether you are thinking about your desire or the lack of your desire
    • For example, thinking “I want to be slim” vibrates very differently from “I don’t want to be fat”
    • There is no exclusion in our inclusion based universe, your attention to anything will bring the essence of it to you
    • Thinking “I want to be slim” will bring you a slim body… thinking “I don’t want to be fat” will keep you fat
    • How do you know if your thought is on your desire or the lack of your desire? You will feel it in the form of emotion.
  • Dominant thoughts win: What are you predominantly thinking about?
  • The law of attraction is simple
    • You get what you think about, whether you want it or not
    • Thoughts are vibrations
    • Like vibrations are attracted to one another
    • Events and circumstances begin to unfold to manifest the essence of your thoughts
    • You get what you think about, whether you want it or not
  • The law of attraction is a simple process, but learning to direct your thoughts takes practice like anything else
  • Belief is the secret sauce
  • If you don’t believe in what you want, you must find a way to focus your thoughts until you believe them
  • Once you believe, you will see manifestation begin

Here are Some Tips to Help You Align

  • You must figure out how to think about what you want, instead of what is
  • Be aware… are you thinking about your desire, or the lack of your desire?
  • Think about things you like and enjoy from your past, or how you would prefer it to be
  • Dream, dream, dream!
  • Be eager (like a kid)

The Second Question

  • I’m now going to address her second concern… let me reread that part:

I seem to like to keep others happy before myself and put their needs first. Rather than hurt others, I hurt inside myself. Help me.

  • She is asking how to stop hurting herself while attempting to help others
  • We are going to apply what we just talked about regarding alignment
  • When you are in alignment, you will attract others who are in alignment and influence those who are not
  • We have all experienced this… we are drawn to happy confident people (in alignment) and avoid those who are grumpy (out of alignment)
  • You have nothing to offer another human being if you are not in alignment… nobody is going to take advice from that grumpy guy, or even want to hang out with him
  • When you try to help another when you are not in alignment, you cannot help them, and because you are focusing on their needs instead of your own, you cannot help yourself either… that’s why you hurt inside when you put their needs first
  • It may seem selfish, but you can only help others when you are first in alignment
  • Tend to your own vibrational needs – get happy on the subject – then you can influence others through the example of your joy
  • Remember, like anything else, this will take practice
  • I promise you, it works… you are not going to become a proficient tennis player the first time you get out onto the court, and in like manner, you will need to practice your deliberate thoughts to get into alignment

  • I read many books on the subject strengthening my knowledge, understanding, and ultimately my results of the law of attraction
  • I feel compelled to share it with you, and that’s what this podcast and my blog are all about.
  • I’d like to share one of the most influential books (for me) with you that can address the subject of alignment much better than I ever could
  • It’s called “Ask, And it is Given” by Jerry and Esther Hicks
  • All of their publications are amazing, but I would start with that one

  • We are aligned when the thoughts we are thinking about any given subject are the same as the thoughts of our non-physical inner being. At every moment, we are being guided by our inner being through our emotions.

It’s Nice To See Some Traction

This blog was launched less than two months ago in May 2018, and the podcast was launched less than one month ago in June. I didn’t know who was paying attention, or even if anyone was paying attention.

It was launched to share my journey, because I believe there are others on the same journey that would benefit from what I am learning and applying.  It did not start out as a law of attraction journey, or a spiritual journey at all (or so I thought), but instead it was a success journey.

For years have been seeking, learning, and applying techniques and methods that others were applying with great results. I did not realize I was on a spiritual journey all along… in fact, I was resisting some of the spiritual aspects that I associated with inconsistencies that conflicted in my mind. Nonetheless, I have been keenly aware of the law of attraction throughout my life, but I just did not call it that – I did not know what it was called.

If I Hadn’t Resisted

If I hadn’t been resisting, I would have been experiencing deliberate results many years sooner.  “You get what you think about” – and the universe has been bringing me answers all along. I kind of always knew that the law of attraction was there, and I finally put a name to it when the movie “The Secret” was released. I knew it was powerful, but I did not realize the level of control that I had… nor did I know how to use it.

It was less than three years ago when I finally made the connection. In essence, I finally dropped the resistance to allow myself to really understand that this is a spiritual journey.  Success is a spiritual journey. What I did not know until recently, is that the law of attraction is always on – and so I need to be aware of my thoughts all the time. Upon my realization, things started to move quickly.

As I began moving forward, and began really learning and understanding the rules of the universe, my world began to open up, and I began to see manifestational results. Prior to this, I have had many successes as well as failures in my life. Overall, I’ve always been a happy person believing I can achieve anything I set out to do. It hadn’t always been that easy though.

Now that the law of attraction began brining me the knowledge I have been seeking, I started randomly (it was seemingly random) finding stories, authors, old books, new books, audio books, articles – even celebrity stories – regarding the law of attraction, and how this stuff can apply to my every day life. I’m soaking it up!

There is so much information out there, that I decided to dedicate some time every day to this endeavor. I am super excited to learn and apply it. I started to become knowledgeable and found myself talking to myself about the things I am learning – just to reinforce it and to be sure I don’t forget it. After all, if I want to keep applying this great wisdom in my life, I need a way to remember until it becomes second nature.

Why Am I Telling You This?

I received a message from the contact form on my blog and I wanted to address an inquiry. First, I’d like to reiterate that this blog and podcast are very new. I haven’t done any marketing to get the word, yet I see (via stats) that people are listening to my podcast. I suppose I am a bit surprised to see my listenership rise steadily.

I’m happy to see that the podcast is providing value. Here is the message I received:

 

Just wanted to let you know I am really enjoying your podcast and looking forward to future episodes. I like the “straight forward” approach and analogies that you provide. (Being a “radio broadcasting beacon” analogy that is always broadcasting was one I was able to really apply)

Also, would love to hear some of your or your clients personal stories to illustrate those points.

And so Dr. M, I’d like to address your inquiry regarding my clients’ personal stories. First, I’d like to thank you for thinking I have clients in the business! Now that you see what I wrote above, you can see that I kind of “fell” into this business. Actually, that law of attraction brought me here because I want to share this great information.

As it turns out, I do have people who I coach on the law of attraction. These people, all unrelated, came to me unexpected as well. If you told me three years ago that I’d be a law of attraction coach, I’d have thought you were nuts. I’ve been coaching one of them for over two years now, and he has been part of the journey.

I have been in business for decades, and a business consultant in my fields of expertise. I enjoy helping people, it is my mission and I get great satisfaction from it. I feel none more compelling than my work here with the universal law of attraction. A few months ago, in April, I was planning to launch a blog, and I was deciding which of two particular fields I was going to dedicate my time. The law of attraction was not in consideration.

I had no plans to be doing what I am doing, but it kept tugging at me. Both of those two choices just didn’t feel right. I decided to apply LOA techniques I am learning to “feel” my emotions on the subject to be sure I am making the right decision. It was clear… I need to teach others the law of attraction, and how to apply it in a practical way.

I tried to give myself every reason why I should be doing something else, but I finally relented. At that moment, a feeling of excitement came over me, and the rest is history. I know I should be sharing this incredible wisdom!

So here I am Dr. M. I do have clients (not so surprisingly?). I will share stories with consent. As it turns out, I began recording coaching calls with one person (with consent) to be published once I figure out the best way to share. Look for them.
