This ThinkBlissful podcast episode provides you with an irreplaceable ingredient for manifesting. The secret sauce is belief. Your thoughts along will not manifest your desires unless you truly believe in them. Otherwise, the law of attraction will bring you the lack of your desire, the opposite of it because without belief, your vibration will reflect its’ absence. I go into more detail in this episode, plus I provide you with five techniques you can use now to change your beliefs, and finally, I provide you with real examples of busting through beliefs that may be holding you back.

The Secret Sauce Is Belief!
- This is a really important episode!
- Thinking is just not enough to manifest: You must add the secret sauce… you must think, AND believe (so if you have been struggling, you may be missing this ingredient)
- I will explain why, because understanding is the key to adapting, and I will help you to understand this concept
- And in this podcast I will share five ways you can change your beliefs
- And I will also identify some beliefs that may be holding you back, and work through some of the belief changing techniques together with you to bust through the beliefs
- This is important, let’s get started!
Let’s get to it!
- We manifest what we think about
- We must also believe what we are thinking
- It’s more important than you may initially think
- It’s not just important, it’s critical for manifesting
- Actually, you cannot have your desires without belief…
- I want to point out that there is actually an exception, but it will not apply to your deliberate creating
- You must think it and believe it OR think it and want (desire) it…
- A strong desire CAN replace a weak belief, HOWEVER your want will not be strong enough except in extremely dire circumstances… for instance, the story of the woman who lifted a car to remove her trapped child. Under normal circumstances, she would never believe she can lift a car, and therefore the law of attraction responds in kind. Yet in this dire situation, her WANTING was so strong that the law of attraction responded in kind and brought her the strength she needed in the moment. She did not have the time to ponder her belief that she can lift a car.
- For OUR manifestation purposes, our WANTING will never realistically be strong enough to deliberately manifest our desires.
- It is for this reason that we must pay attention to our beliefs instead of our wanting.
- It is far easier to change our beliefs. That may sound bold, but it is true, especially when you consider what a belief is.
- A belief is a thought that we continue to think about. When we think about something, the law of attraction brings is thoughts of the same vibration. The thought grows and begins to attract circumstances and things of the same vibration, giving us evidence of what we will begin to call “truth”. This becomes our belief. It is important to understand that your truth is not necessarily someone else’s truth. Anything and everything that exists is “true” because people or a person has given thought to it.
- Now that you understand what a belief is, you can understand that we can change our beliefs. Of course, you must want to change it.
Changing your beliefs to support your desires
- I am going to share five ways you can change your beliefs beginning today
- The “A à C” technique. This is a belief shift through logic. By going through a process, we can change our belief by seeing that it A = B, and B = C, then A must = C
- The “education” technique. Learning why something cannot be so can be a powerful way to change a belief.
- The “think about it” technique. Keep thinking the thought, even if you don’t believe it. Remember, a belief is a thought we keep thinking (so keep thinking until you believe it)
- The “index card” technique. Remind yourself of something you would like to believe by writing on a card. The thought will begin feel good, and see evidence of it, and you will begin to believe!
- The “reinforcement” technique. Hang with people that believe that which you want to believe. Listen to or read educational material (such as this podcast, and material by other people – which you can find at ThinkBlissful.com/resources)
Let’s try this out
- Let’s try some of these belief changing techniques with some beliefs that may be holding you back
Here are examples of some beliefs that hold you back
Belief Example 1
I need to work hard to feel like I have “earned” my money (how do you define “earn”?)
- How does this belief hold you back?
- For one, you can never become prosperous because you don’t have enough time. Does that serve you?
- Let’s bust your definition
- It’s not what you do that earns, it’s what people get from what you do that earns… get it?
- Lets say you sell cars to make money. Are you providing value to the customer? Maybe, maybe not, but now you can understand why some salespeople will do better than others. The customer wants a car, you have the information that can help them, you educate them, they choose the car, you earn your commission. You provided value through education to the customer. You were paid for the value your provided, not your time.
- Now let’s say you wrote a book on how to choose and buy a car. You sell it as an ebook online. Are you still providing value to the consumer? Of course you are! Now you can sell hundreds, even thousands of ebooks, and each one of them is providing value to someone. The sales are automated, so you aren’t even putting much time into it. Are you earning your money? Of course you are, you are providing value with every sale.
- Belief busted!
- This is the A à C technique
Belief Example 2
I can’t be rich
- How does this belief hold you back?
- If you believe you can’t, then you can’t. The very law of attraction won’t allow it, and this belief has been keeping you from attracting money
- Let’s bust through
- Tell yourself that you can be rich. Don’t use any negative words. Picture yourself experiencing a life of prosperity, doing the things you desire to do, and having the things you desire to have. Come back to this thought often – several times a day – and be sure to add detail and emotion. Literally, make believe that it is true and see how that feels. To strengthen this thought, write on an index card “I am wealthy and prosperous, and live an abundant lifestyle”, and carry that card in your pocket. Each time you put your hand in your pocket and notice the card, pull it out and reach it. The card in your pocket serves as a reminder. Keep reading, keep telling yourself. You will begin to see that you are more comfortable with the idea of wealth. The law of attraction will bring other thoughts of the same vibration, which will raise your vibration, and so it will continue to grow. And guess what, a belief is a thought you continue to think, and you WILL soon believe it! Especially as you begin to see the manifestation in your life!
- This is an example of the “keep thinking about it” technique, accompanied by the “index card” technique.
Belief Example 3
Money is scarce
- How does this belief hold you back?
- If there is not enough money to go around, then you are taking from someone else. That’s not spiritual.
- Let’s bust through
- Money is not scarce because money “flows”.
- I will explain the flow.
- This is an example of the education technique
Belief Example 4
Money is the root of all evil
- How does this belief hold you back?
- If you believe money is at the cause of problems, you will repel money
- Let’s bust through
- Is money evil? Let’s take a closer look. What is money? Money is an agreed on means of exchange, and money replaced a primitive means of exchange, where people would trade goods and services with each other. If you were a butcher, you might trade meat for a pair of shoes with a shoemaker. But what if someone did not need what you have to offer, but you needed their product or service? The old method of trade was problematic and a solution was needed. Creating a monetary system where all products and services can be easily traded solved the problem. Money is not evil. It has no meaning at all, unless you choose to give it a meaning. It’s merely paper and coin that we use to trade the products and services you provide.
- This is an example of the A à C technique.
- It works something like this…
- I create a product à money is used to represent and trade my product à the customer gets to enjoy my product à I can use the money I received for my product to purchase another product of my choice à Money helped me make an even trade à Money is good
Belief Example 5
Rich people are greedy
- How does this belief hold you back?
- If I were rich, I will feel bad, greedy, and like I am hurting others
- Let’s bust through
- Money has nothing to do with greed, although greed has a lot to do with money. There are poor people who are greedy, there are poor people who are kind and giving. There are rich people too who are kind and giving. And yes, of course there are some rich people who are greedy, but there is no correlation, and most people who are rich get there through integrity and by providing real value in exchange for the money they attract.
- This is a combination of the A à C technique and the education technique
In summary
- You must think about what you desire, and you must believe what you are desiring
- You can change your beliefs, and it’s easier than you think
- Try these techniques to change your beliefs:
- The education technique
- The A à C technique
- The keep thinking technique
- The index card technique
- The reinforcement technique
- Remember all the action and effort in the world won’t help if you don’t have supporting beliefs!
