I have a question and have been doing some Googling and thinking about it.
I have been going to psychotherapy for a few years now and have done lots of therapeutic techniques and have battled major depression since I was a child. I have been on and off medications. And my therapist has recommended me to get back on medications.
My psychology degree taught me more than the average how psychopharmacology works chemically and statistically and makes me not want to take any. However, I have been manifesting a career and a certain income with the additional manifestation of achieving what I want with ease, as well as wanting to be a happy mom when I do have kids.
Depression for me isn’t negative thinking, but rather difficulty getting my positive energy machine working, as well as easily falling into a Grand Canyon of obsessive-compulsive thoughts.
My manifestation for accomplishing great things with ease has led me to getting back to taking an antidepressant. And my therapist would recommend I be a long time user of these types of medications. I’m hesitant because I don’t want to rely on a medication so many Americans, predominantly white privileged Americans overuse.
I’m seeing depression in my life not as situational but rather [that it] persists for many years… even if it gets easier it’s always there. (Double depression) and sometimes I feel like it’s a brain thing not so much a mind thing.
This is long, but what I’m trying to get as is what’s your understanding of antidepressants and it’s interaction with the law of attraction? I want to use it as a positive tool just like a vision board as a positive tool.
